High school

Last time in conversation class we study about status so in this topic I want to show my experience about different status of people in my high school. In my school has various people‘s status  as  what I’d observed, I can distinguish them from the object that they bring and use in school such as mobile phone, notebook computer, car, bag, and there dressing. But it is rather hard if you want to observe the people’s status in my school from their appearance because I have ever tried before and the result is wrong!!!

In part of student, Hi-so students they always use brand-name stuff such as Marc Jacob’s school bag, IPhone, and MacBook. For middle class students they always use new stuff every new semester but stuff isn’t expensive enough such as Nokia mobile phone, Acer notebook, normal school’s bag. In Lo-so students they always use an old stuff and some Lo-so’s students don’t have mobile phone. In part of teacher, I can separate them in two classes, Hi-so class and middle class. Hi-so’s teachers always use luxury car such as Mercedes Benz, BMW and they always wear good looking cloth. For middle class’s teachers always use normally car such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan but some middle class’s teacher use a public bus and they always wear normally cloth. In part of director is the high status person in school so he always look hi-so and good looking all the time.

Actually first time when I  come to study in this high school  I always think this high school have only Lo-so student because I just look only their appearance but when I saw the stuff that they use it make know what type of their status. Because some student who is good-looking or good appearance always be Lo-so status on the other hand in many students who are plain-looking always be Hi-so status.

Sixth time!

February 3rd, 2014 is my sixth time studying conversation with Mr. Rey. During the class, we did three activities. The first activity was to walk in space with make many weird postures. This activity make me warm up for have energy and liveliness.

The second activity was role-play about status. The situation or the story of the play is limited according to Mr. Rey. We were given 2 situations which were: 1.Conversation between a teacher and a student that does not acquire good grades and 2.Conversation between a salesperson of brand-named product and a Hi-so customer. This activity teases us how the Low-so and Hi-so people always do and practices our English conversation skill too.

The last activity was to perform our role-play. This activity we perform about “Television News”. This activity is fun very much because Mr. Rey adds the new situation between we perform therefore we much create new conversation at that time. Creation new conversation at that time is the reason that I can express my emotion to concern with those situation a lot because I create my own script so it make me don’t worry about forget the script that our group create before.

Frozen

Frozen is the animation movie of Walt Disney, which won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film at the 86th annual Academy Awards, “Oscar”. And in the category award of the Best Original Song, the song that is the winner is “Let it Go” the song from this movie too. Walt Disney has produced many princess feature films beginning with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Brave, Tangled, Princess and the Frog ,Little Mermaid , Mulan, Beauty and the Beast,  Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty,  and its most recent being Frozen (2013). Every movie princess feature films of Walt Disney make me fascinate in those movie so much especially Frozen.

Mainly, the dynamic of the Frozen story revolves around a royal family in some distant, Nordic land. Here, two sisters grow up together, with one being able to wield magic powers that form ice and snow in a wide area around her. After a gruesome accident, however, things radically change in the relationship of the entire family and eventually, the “cursed” child has to take on responsibilities. Her public state doesn’t agree with this bewitched status she owns, which forces even more inner relational strife, but also puts a large peril on the country itself. To overcome it all, the sister must learn to master this power or succumb to fear of it and doom everyone.

In turn, the younger sister goes through this arc with a coming of age story. She wants to witness the wonders of life, experience social thriving and find an appropriate love interest, while retaining her youthful spirit. It’s also this fervor that allows her to maintain an adventurous spirit when she needs to step up to solve the country’s crisis.

Lie

Deception or lie is to intentionally make a false statement to mislead someone. The ability to lie is a cognitive accomplishment. While we look down on the practice from a moral and ethical point of view, lying isn’t normally done without a pretty good motive. People always lie because they have many reasons such as to conceal their misdeeds and stay out of trouble, to preserve their reputation, to avoid hurting someone’s feelings, to increase their reputation, to manipulate someone.

For me I’m one of people that have ever lie and the reason the lie is the same reason I have said before. Surely I sometime lie to many people such as my friend, my teacher, my relatives, also my parents too. But my family doesn’t like person who are lie a lot because if they know that person are lie to them they will never trust that person forever. So this reason makes me dare to lie to my family especially my parent and the other reason that make I’m not lie to my parent because my religious have doctrine about the lie is the wrong-doing, it said if you lie to your parent when you die you will go to the hell and your mouth will small like a needle. In addition when I lie to my parent I always have an uncomfortable feeling.

My father has ever said to me about his lie experience. He told me that his friend need to borrow my father’s money actually my father has money but he tell to his friend that he doesn’t has money because my father know that his friend will not return his money so my father must lie to his friend . At that my father’s friend suffered a lot of money so much so he must find a job to make money. The job that my father’s friend do is about fix switch of light bulb but he forgot to cut off the power supply so he received an electric shock and he dead. After that event my father blames himself that he is causing of his friend’s die because if he give money to his friend before this event will not occur especially the amount of money that his friend need to borrow is a little, just only 20,000 bath. From this story my father always tells me that I should not lie to people especially the people who I love.

Fifth time

February 27th, 2014 is my fifth time studying conversation with Mr. Rey. During the class, we did three activities. The first activity was to walk in space with make many weird postures and then we form a circle and do follow the weird postures that the leader does. Finally I know the purpose of why I must do this activity  every week because it makes me warm up like I do in P.E. class that I must warm up before I do yoga for reduce the injuries of my muscles. But I think in conversation class has this activity for warm up because it makes us have more energy and liveliness before we do the other activities. I feel this activity make me warm up and my face is a little bit wet with sweat. And the most important thing about this activity is it helps me a lot to reduce my nervous about my performance in next activity.

The second activity was to ask the continuous question. This activity is about to ask the continuous question to the person who sit on “hot seat” surrounding with the people who will ask the question and the rule of this activity is person who sit on the hot seat can answer with lie information. In this activity we have four lucky people that sit on the hot seat and we have many various question such as “what kind of specialist do you want to be?, Where is the abroad medical school do you want to study?, Who is your favorite doctor’s icon?,”. Entirely many questions are about our career. I feel this activity is useful for practice my conversation skill so much.

The last activity was to perform our role-play. This activity we perform about family’s problem again because last week we didn’t perform well enough so today we must show how well we have improved our performance skill. Our performance story is “The gay son” before the day we must perform we prepare a lot of thing for our show. We decide to change our dialog so our group helps each other a lot to improve our dialog, Prim research about how their parent reacted when their son coming out to be homosexual, Tualek tell us to know how his parent do when they know he is gay, and I prepare the prop for use in our performance it help us so much to make audience easy to understand our show and to make our show more attractive. When we finish the show Mr. Rey comment us about our dialog in the end is not good enough but our prop is useful for make him understand what we want to show. My feeling about this activity is it makes me confident to use English language for conversation and it makes me have feeling when I speak English.

Pollution

The population of people using cars daily has now beginning to be grow out of control. According to the research on the year 2024, the people using cars in Thailand have increased from the year 2015 by 70 percent. Level of air pollution is increasing to a point where, at certain days, the air is too poisonous and unsafe for us to breathe. It’s time for us to start taking actions, and put an end to this damage that is killing our planet Earth. 

 

People have always believe that buying cars is necessary because they must go to work and they must use it to go somewhere besides their home. This idea although cannot be proved false, yet we could make several changes to it so that we could decrease the amount of damage we are doing to ourselves. By using bicycles, public transportations, and non-polluting transportations, we could’ve at least decrease the amount of pollution we are doing right now by at least up to 90 percent. We may not suggest that we all stop using cars, but we can suggest that we use the transportation carefully and thoughtfully enough that we only use the transportation methods that are only necessary for us. For example, some people might use a car without anyone but themselves sitting in the car, and drive themselves to a place that only takes 10 minutes if they walk there. This is an example of an idiotic, dull, and foolish act of a majority of people. The question here is, are we to risk our planet Earth we call home, for that we may make everything in our live extremely convenient to a point where we cannot define something “ARDUOUS”. 

 

In conclusion, I beg at least little of your pardon, and pay at least some attention to what is now going on. Please do be reminded that every second we wait and keep things as they are, our mother Earth is crying as we are killing her with what we created. I have no more to say but a reminder for you all, that every action counts, as of in order for this to happen, we require actions from all, and all cannot be achieved, if from one it does not start.

Car!

Have you ever had a car in your dream? A car that you really wish you’d own and drive it everywhere to show it to other people you pass around. Well, I have a car in my dream that I wish that one day I would buy and own it. In the following paragraph, I will be telling you about this car I really like, and why I like it.

Actually I never interested in car before but last two year ago when I got a driver’s licence my father allowed me to going out by his car and I drive it by myself that event it make me interested in a car. In my free time I always surf the Internet for finding the elegant cars and reading about the car’s specification. In addition when I see an attractive car the on the road or the car park  I sometimes take a picture of it.

I personally love the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport. This car is the second most expensive car in the world. This car has a clocked speed of 400+ km per hour, with a 1001 horsepower engine.This maxim of perfection found its expression in the car’s technology: the Grand Sport’s engine, drive, and brakes all deliver superlatives in performance, acceleration, and deceleration. The choice of materials is another indicator of Bugatti’s discerning standards: titanium, carbon fibre, magnesium, aluminium – each component is made of the material with the lowest weight and the highest level of functionality. This is also true for the chassis safety features. The Grand Sport’s body consists of a carbon fibre monocoque suspended from an aluminium frame in the front and a carbon fibre/stainless steel frame in the rear. In assembly, too, perfection is the guiding principle: the Grand Sport is manufactured lovingly and meticulously by hand. This is basically the reason why I love this car; I mean, what could possibly have been better than this car! It offers tons of in-car functions and also a high-end sharp design that makes everyone you drive pass stare at the car you are driving. And the most interesting thing that l fascinate this car so much because of it is the Super Sport version of the Veyron is the fastest  production car in the world, with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph) that it is appropriate for people who love in speed like me. In the end, I wanted to conclude that no matter what car is going to be developed to beat this spectacular Bugatti, they won’t stand a chance!

Fourth time

February 20th, 2014 is my fourth time studying conversation with Mr. Rey. During the class, we did four activities. The first activity was to walk in space and suppose we are in the heavy and light air. This activity we have to show how we do if we must be in the place that has heavy and light air. This activity I felt that I was training in acting class for to be a superstar ^_^ why I felt like that? Because I have ever watched in reality show; such as The star, they do this activity in their acting class too.

The second activity we molding an object from the air and sharing to each other. In my imagination I molding the bottle of water because at that time I was very thirsty^_^. And after that we start the third activity with molding large object we supposed it to be a car for use in our role-playing. The situation or the story of the play is limited according to Mr. Rey. In the second and third activity I think there are very useful for me in next week because I must role-play with the object that I may mold it from the air.

The last activity was to perform role-plays about family’s problem. My group performs a role-play about homosexual child, the story about how parent do with their child when they know their child is being a homosexuality. My group had very a big problem; we must perform again in next week because this week we act as a Soap Opera. However Mr. Rey advised us to solve this problem by assign us to find more information about how parent do and talk with their child when they know their child is being a homosexuality so on that day after conversation’s class our group working so hard for searching a lot of information on the internet for proofing our dialog. I felt that this activity helps us very well in developing our performance skills that we can use in our job to perform with our patient.

My favorite book!

Love in the lakes is a book I would recommend for others to read. This book is an English short-story, suitable for everyone since it very easy to read and understand. This story is about a love triangle between Laura, Nick, and Robert.

The story takes place in London, England. Laura Barton owns an organic food shop and cafe in London. She is excited because she’s going away for the weekend with her fast-living new boyfriend, Nick. They’re going to the Lake District where he enjoys water sports. Just before it’s time to go, Laura’s elderly neighbor, Joseph, has a heart attack and goes into hospital, and she is left to look after his dog, Kip. Nick reluctantly agrees to let her bring Kip with her for the holiday.

When they arrive at the unrestored barn where they are staying, Kip eats some rat poison, and Laura is left by the uncaring Nick to drive through the night to find a vet. The vet, Robert, saves Kip and also agrees to keep Kip overnight, as the barn is cold and has no hot water. Robert is offhand to Laura because he thinks she is one of the unthinking city people who come and spoil the countryside. Next day when he brings the dog back, Laura is out collecting mushrooms, and Robert thinks that it’s her out jet-skiing on the lake, which reinforces his bad opinion of her.

Later Nick and Laura meet Robert’s receptionist, Maggie, in the pub. She tells them the sad story of Robert’s girlfriend’s death in an accident on the lake two years earlier. She had been swimming one summer’s evening when some boys from London ran into her on their jet-skis. He has never got over this and still has horrible dreams and visions of the accident when he goes near the lake. During the holiday, Laura realizes that she doesn’t like Nick and his attitudes to life, and gradually, through a series of chance meetings, she finds that she is getting to like Robert more and more.

Robert and Laura’s relationship is helped when he introduces her to his aunt, Barbara, who also runs a natural food shop. Laura and Barbara quickly become friends and agree to do business together. When Barbara invites Laura to join her and some friends on a hill walk, she meets Robert again. When she drives him home afterwards, he invites her in and their feelings for each other deepen.

Things come to a head just as Laura and Nick are leaving for London. Laura receives a phone-call from the hospital telling her that Joseph has died. This means she has to keep Kip. It suddenly occurs to her that Robert would be a better owner for Kip, as they had grown to like each other, too. She gets Nick to take her to Robert’s, who immediately accepts the dog but is sad to be saying goodbye to Laura. Laura then tells Nick that their relationship is over and that she wants to travel home by train. Robert realizes that he wants to be with Laura so he phones her, and she agrees to get off the train to see him. He collects her at the station, and the story ends with them kissing by the lake.

Family’s problem

My sister and I are very close to each other. We often communicate, consult, and exchange ideas and perspectives on many different topics, such as about each of my friends that have problems in their university life. Additionally, we often go from places to places with each other, like going over for a trip, go to restaurants outside the house, and take extra-curricular courses together. Although we are very close to each other since we are both very young, we often fight with each other too; and this is because most of the time I am the one who bring up the topics for us to have conflict with each other ^_^. And every time we had a fight with each other, none of us would forgive each other after the fight. We would be every angry at each other and would not talk together for about to days. After that, we often forget about the fight we both had and come back to talk with each other again.

There was a story that I never forget since I was young that caused my sister and I to fight over each other was about when I accidentally break my mother’s favourite tea cup. At that time, my sister came in and saw all that happened and told me not to tell this to my mother because she saw that I was very afraid of going to get scolded by my mother. About two days after that event, my mother asked my sister about her tea cup; my sister answered no but my mother said she saw small fractures of her tea cup left in the kitchen. So in the end, my sister confessed that I am the one who broke my mother’s tea cup. At that time, I was just passing by and heard everything. I was afraid that my mother would scold me so I ran away to my bedroom and locked to hide away from my mother. Not so long after, my sister came and knocked on my door and also telling me that my mother told me to come and see her. At the same time, I was very afraid and angry, so I opened the door and ask my sister why she confessed; my sister answered and told me that my mother wanted my sister to speak the truth, and if she lies, my mother would not give my sister her weekly allowance. I was very very angry so I scolded at my sister with rude words and so we got in a fight with each other. We were very loud, so loud that our mother could hear our fight and came over to find both of us. I was hit by my mother with a hanger. My mother told me that the reason she hits me is not because I broke her tea cup, but because I used bad words to scold at my sister. My mother told me that the reason she called for me was to just to tell me that I would get a deduction of my weekly allowance as a punishment v_v.

Although we sometimes had a fight with each other but we are still best buddies. From me my sister is the most important so much because of she always help me solve my problem when I am in a terrible dilemma. At last I want to thank you for everything that she do for me and sorry about everything that I do or make she sad V_V .
